Alas, no dishwasher for us

The new dishwasher was delivered yesterday.  We only paid for delivery and haul away, not installation.  Curtis can install it himself and save us some money.  However, Curtis found that the front feet were bent when he unpacked the dishwasher  (They're like the feet on the bottom of washing machines--a little round foot with a screw for a leg.)  Instead of being straight up and down, they were maybe at a 30 degree angle and were sticking out past the edges of the dishwasher.

So Curtis went back to Sears to try and get a replacement dishwasher.  However, after being half off on Black Friday, Sears did not have anymore (at least at that location).  I was a little disappointed since I thought Sears would give us a refund, which would allow us to purchase another dishwasher, but none as nice as the one we were able to get on Black Friday.  Luckily their policy is a little more generous than I was expecting.  The salesman Curtis talked to last night would make an effort to find one at another location and get it to us, and if he couldn't, would let us have a different machine in the same price range as the one we picked out.  Seems fair.  Now we wait.  And do dishes by hand.
