Boys are different

Recently Michael's preschool class made forsythia* pictures.  They were supposed to put their thumbs in paint and make thumb prints all over the paper to represent the flowers.  They are supposed to look something like this:

Jesse did it too when he went to preschool.  Though I don't think these were his thumb prints.

Cute, right?

Michael marches to the beat of a different drummer.  This is how his picture came out:


As you can see, Michael's teacher had to put a caption on it so we would know what it was.

Ahhh, the fun in having boys.

*Bushes blooming right now.  They are yellow, and the flowers come out before the leaves.

Given that forsythia sucker from the base up (rather than have a single main stem with branches off of it)... Michael's is the more accurate of the two. =P

And forsythia do have a rather wild look to them....
