This month Peter's speech and physical therapists came to test Peter in his skills to determine if he is still eligible for services. These services are provided free by the county (hurray!) as long as there is a 25% or more delay in skill development. Peter tested above the cut-off mark, so he ended services this month.
Peter's come a long way. He went from wriggling on the floor like a sidewinder (snake) to bum-scooting. He never did learn how to crawl. Now he runs, jumps (a little clumsily still), and talks. Currently, his favorite thing to do is count and point out all the letters and numbers he sees. And thanks to Dora the Explorer, Peter can also count to ten in Spanish.
